Jacob looked up at his new school with a grim frown on his face. Narkwood high was known for its strict behavior and following the rules was never really high on his to-do list. But the first day of school could not be to bad… Could it? “Hey dude” someone yelled. Jacob turned around trying to find the disturbance. A small, skinny curly haired youth was walking over to Jacob. “Your Jacob correct?” The kid said, fiddling with the zipper of his dark blue jacket. Jacob sighed and nodded. “Good” said the kid to himself more than Jacob. “Well I’m Martin and I go to this school” he said holding out his hand to shake Jacob’s. Jacob smiled shaking his hand. “Hopefully you are.” Said Jacob “I don’t want to be shaking hands with a mass murderer” Martin laughed and Jacob smiled again ” now it looked like I have a friend” Jacob thought.
