Ethiopia has some of the most amazing places on Earth but Afar, Ethiopia takes the prize in my mind. If you brave one of the hottest deserts in the world, called “Hell on Earth” by many Ethiopians, you will be greatly rewarded. A large lava lake held on the site of an active volcano. The journey to Erta Ale is very dangerous, the desert us often used for armed rebels. To get to Erta Ale you need to sign up and be escorted by armed guards. But the view is easily worth it in my opinion.
I woke up this morning feeling pretty tired, but happy since our entire school district was shut down for the next few days due to the amount of kids and adults who are sick. I was stiff and barely awake but I made myself go to the gym. When I arrived I found a new renovation. In the time that I hadn’t been there ( several months ) they completely made a new entrance. I went into the workout room and ran two miles on the treadmill. I haven’t run on a while so it took me longer thank used to. I was wiped after. There’s always some feeling afterwards like your still running. During the running time, I listened to a special pump-up Spotify playlist that a friend made for me. There’s something special about exercising and listening to “Eye of the Tiger” in the background. Its really magical. Safely I had to leave because my breakfast was calling for me. I went home and prepared a healthy breakfast of grilled cheese and water. After a not very hard decision I have decided that I will not move from the couch at all today. I look forward to the rest of the day and I will be posting again tomorrow. Thanks for everyone reading this!

1.) In real life Mario’s jump height would be over 25 feet tall! Researchers figured this out by calculating the amount of pixels in his person to his jump. Why hasn’t he been signed up for a basketball contract yet?
2.) In the Nintendo Mario franchise Bowser had a son named Bowser jr. What many people wondered was who was the mother of Bowser jr.? Shigeru Miyamoto, the developer of the old nintendo classics stated that Bowser is somehow Bowser jr.’s mother.
3.) Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak got into the top Tetris scores so many times that he was asked to stop to let other players get their high scores. However, he still got into the scores by spelling his name backwards.
4.) Luigi is a pun in Japanese, meaning similar. Luigi was named this way because the designers had so much trouble trying to make Mario’s brother that they combined the body shape of Mario with the color design of the Koopas.
5.) Before Mario had a name, he was known a Jumpman because he was the first character ever to jump up in a video game. Before he was known a Jumpman, he was names Ossan, which means “Middle-aged guy”.
6.) The voice actor for Cortana, Jen Taylor, was the voice of Princess Peach in the early 2000s.
7.) One of the most popular glitches in history occurred on a Mario game. You enter the wrong pipe and you get placed into a never ending, looping water level. This glitch is called the Minus World glitch.
